United Petfood breaks world record for largest dog biscuit

Ghent, Belgium – 19/05/2025 – United Petfood, a leading international pet food manufacturer, has officially broken the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® for the largest dog biscuit. Weighing 515,60 kg and measuring 5,95 m x 1,89 m x 4,50 cm; the giant dog treat is the biggest ever made. 

Fueled by creativity, collaboration, and a shared love for pets, the United Petfood team successfully turned an ambitious idea into a record-setting reality.

Crafted by the team at United Petfood’s Coevorden bakery, the biscuit was revealed as a surprise during a team event in the Netherlands, where employees from all Dutch branches had gathered.

After the event, the biscuit was portioned and shared. Employees with dogs were invited to take a piece home, while the remaining portions were donated to local animal shelters — ensuring that many more dogs could enjoy this one-of-a-kind treat.

To share the joy even further, United Petfood is launching a social media campaign inviting dog lovers everywhere to join the celebration. Participants can post fun photos of their dogs on LinkedIn, Instagram or Facebook, tagging United Petfood and using #UnitedPetfood and #BiggestDogBiscuit. On May 30, twenty lucky winners will be randomly selected to receive a surprise gift package, including a piece of the record-breaking biscuit.
