Do you know someone who would be a perfect fit for United Petfood? That’s not only a win for us, but also for you! When your referred candidate is hired, you can earn a referral bonus of up to £250 gross.

How does it work?

  1. Stay informed about our vacancies
    Check out our open positions in UK here.
  2. Spread the word
    Tell your friends, family, and acquaintances about United Petfood and our job opportunities.
  3. Know someone who wants to apply?
    Refer them to our jobsite and send an email to tina.thomas@unitedpetfood.co.uk to announce their application. Please also mention the position they are applying for.
  4. New colleague on board?
    That’s when we reward you!
    •    Upon hiring, you receive the first installment of £50 gross.
    •    After 6 months of service, you’ll receive the second installment of £200 gross.

1. What is the referral program?
The referral program is our way of working together to find the right candidates for our vacancies in UK. When your referred candidate is hired, you receive a reward.

2. Which vacancies are eligible?
All positions in UK.

3. How do you refer someone?

  • Send an email to tina.thomas@unitedpetfood.co.uk before the candidate applies, so we can register your referral correctly.
  • The candidate then applies via the jobsite.

4. How do you stay up to date on vacancies?
Check jobs.unitedpetfood.eu regularly or follow our vacancies on LinkedIn. Feel free to share them!

5. How do you know if your referral has been hired?
The candidate will be informed personally. You will receive an email confirming whether your referral has been hired.

6. How much is the referral bonus?

  • Upon hiring: £50 gross.

    After 6 months of service: £200 gross.
    These amounts are subject to social security and withholding tax.

8. How is the bonus paid out?

  • The first installment (£50) is paid in the month following your referral’s start date.
  • The second installment (£200) is paid in the month after your referral completes 6 months of service.

Conditions

  • The referrer must have an active contract with United Petfood.
  • The email to tina.thomas@unitedpetfood.co.uk must be sent before the candidate applies.
  • The referrer cannot be involved in the formal recruitment process.
  • The referred candidate must remain employed for at least 6 consecutive months to receive the full bonus.
  • The referrer must still be employed at United Petfood at the time of payment.
  • The referrer and the referred candidate cannot be the same person.

Who is not eligible for the referral bonus?

  • Anyone involved in the recruitment process with influence over hiring decisions (HR).
  • Student workers, temporary agency workers, and consultants.

In case of doubt or disagreement, HR — in consultation with management — will make the final decision.
