Function
- Operate forklift – supporting raw material intake or the warehouse with finished product movements.
- Support the teams with manual handling of product, as required.
- Carry out stock takes, as required.
- Keep equipment in good working order, cleaning at the end of the shift.
Profile
- A collaborative team player, with an organised approach to work and an understanding of process.
- Previous experience of forklift driving, minimum 2 years.
- An independent thinker who can take the initiative and manage their own area successfully.
- Previous experience of working in a busy manufacturing environment.
- A focus on safeguarding the quality, legality and safety of the product.
Our offer
- Pay rate: £13.70 per hour.
- 12 hour shift, Monday – Thursday. Rotating: Week 1 (Days): 6:00am – 6:00pm, Week 2 (Nights): 6:00pm – 6:00am. With 1x 30-mins paid break, 1x 30-mins unpaid break.
- Overtime available, paid at time & a half.
- 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) NB If you work a bank holiday you get the day in lieu and the hours paid at time & a half.
