Function
- Move bags of finished product across to the despatch team ready for shipping.
- Relocate bags of finished product from the end of the production line across to storage for future despatch.
- Support the packing team with manual handling of product, as required.
- Carry out stock takes, as required.
- Keep equipment in good working order, cleaning at the end of the shift.
Profile
- A collaborative team player, with an organised approach to work and an understanding of process.
- Previous experience of forklift driving, minimum 2 years.
- An independent thinker who can take the initiative and manage their own area successfully.
- Previous experience of working in a busy manufacturing environment.
- A focus on safeguarding the quality, legality and safety of the product.
Our offer
- Pay rate: £12.98 per hour.
- 40 hour week, 8 hour shift : Monday – Friday, 3 x rotating shifts: AM: 6:00am -2:00pm, PM: 2:00pm - 10:00pm, Nights: 10:00pm - 6:00am, Paid 30 mins break.
- Overtime available, paid at time & a half.
- 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) NB If you work a bank holiday you get the day in lieu and the hours paid at time & a half.
