Packing Machine Operator

Function
- Operate packing machinery and ensure packed product is compliant with customer requirements
- Ensure all machinery operates efficiently and effectively, making fixes or adjustments where required
- Complete production paperwork/ computer entries in a timely manner and ensure that all entries relating to traceability and quality control are completed accurately
Ensure attention to detail and attention to safety are adhered to at all times
Profile
- A collaborative team player, with engineering know how and a passion for problem solving
- Previous experience of working with machinery or in a technical production role
- A growth mind-set – you want to learn and improve your skills and experience
- A focus on safeguarding the quality, legality and safety of the product
Our offer
- Salary: £13.25 per hour, (£27,560.00 per annum)
- 40-hour week. Weekly rotating shifts: AM (06:00 – 14:00), PM (14:00 – 22:00), Nights (22:00 – 06:00), including a 30 mins paid break
- Overtime available, paid at time & a half
- 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays). If you work a bank holiday you will be paid at time & half, and keep the day as part of your allowance
