Your Role

At United Petfood, you’ll have the opportunity to truly make an impact! As Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the top quality of our products and optimizing processes. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the quality of our raw materials and finished products to the highest standards while actively contributing to process improvement initiatives.

  • Building and Optimizing Quality Systems: You’ll ensure our quality management system meets the highest standards, maintaining its efficiency and ensuring its correct implementation on the production floor.
  • Quality Policy: Translate strategic business objectives into practical, actionable plans, guiding colleagues to balance solving daily issues and working on proactive improvements.
  • Process Optimization & Product Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing both quality and efficiency across products and processes.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Certification: Stay up-to-date with legal and certification requirements, including export standards, and translate them into practical, workable solutions.
  • Daily Operational Oversight & Problem Solving: Monitor day-to-day quality issues and swiftly resolve problems related to raw materials or product complaints.
  • Complaint Management & Continuous Improvement: Analyze product complaints, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to ensure ongoing improvements.

Who you are

  • You have initial experience in a quality role and are familiar with quality management systems.
  • You understand regulations, certifications, and how to translate these into practical applications.
  • A hands-on team player, you thrive in a production environment and aren’t afraid to get involved.
  • You’re proactive, adaptable, and excel in a dynamic workplace.
  • Your communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with operators, the quality team, and production managers.
  • You combine operational know-how with strategic thinking, tackling tasks with a flexible and pragmatic mindset.
