United Petfood expands North American footprint

Ghent, Belgium,22-09-2026 – United Petfood, an international private label pet food manufacturer, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a dry pet food production facility in Decatur, Arkansas from Wellness Pet Company,  with the companies also signing a long-term supply agreement in conjunction with this transaction. The acquisition marks another important step in United Petfood’s long-term growth strategy in North America and further strengthens its local production capabilities.

The facility will become United Petfood’s third production site in North America, with facilities already established in Mishawaka, Indiana and Drummondville, Quebec.
